Our week in pictures: The boys and I took a week off to help Daddy with a number of projects. Enjoy some pictures from our week. Click a picture to read how it was part of a rewarding week of work.
- This boy is was made for farm life.
- Our first project this week was for the boys and Mama to put a fence up so the dog didn’t get to the chickens when we opened up their pen to the beautiful spring weather.
- Maple sapping equipment was all cleaned up by these fabulous scrubbers and their mama.
- We’re using up the last of our maple syrup from last year so we can hopefully eat some fresh stuff soon.
- We took a week off school for the various projects Daddy put before us. Each boy loved the weather and worked hard.
- The before picture in the big barn.
- After pictures: This week we bought some young feeder pigs after our gilt lost her first litter.
- Oinkers has a boyfriend now. Meet Curly, our Mangalista boar. We hope these two will make some sweet piglets come fall.
- Our goats are close to giving birth. We hope to have nine kids this year.
- Our three cows will hopefully give birth late June. We also have three curious steers.
- We are going to hatch out some eggs this spring from our laying hens.
- Late winter turns to Spring
Love this. All of it.
